Tax Day March in Thomaston April 15
Global Protest Demands Release of Trump’s Tax Returns

Thomaston, ME, April 3, 2017—Take a stand for public integrity and prepare to pound the pavement on Tax Day to demand that Donald Trump release his tax returns. Midcoast Maine Indivisible invites everyone who believes politicians should be transparent and accountable to a Tax March on Saturday April 15, 2017, from 2-4 p.m., on Main Street in Thomaston.

Without Trump’s tax returns, Americans are in the dark about his conflicts of interest, his foreign entanglements, and whether he even pays his taxes. In protest, people around the globe plan to take to the streets on Tax Day to insist that Donald Trump’s tax returns enter the public record. As part of a national Tax March, the Thomaston event joins demonstrations currently scheduled in Washington, D.C., and more than 120 other cities in 41 states across America. To date, international marches also support Tax Day in Germany, Japan, UK, and New Zealand. The roster of cities hosting Tax Marches continues to grow.

Marchers will assemble at 2 p.m. in the parking lot at the intersection of Starr and Beechwood Streets in Thomaston, behind Athens Pizza and Thomaston Grocery Store. Bring signs, warm clothes, and comfortable shoes, and get ready to make your voice heard in this peaceful demonstration.
